Our NEW Adventure back to the
     "Little Dog with the Big CAN DO Heart"

Australian Terriers are a true working terrier with endurance, energy,
trainability, and a fiesty demeanor that say... "Let Me Try Please !"
They are great farm dogs taking care of pests, love to hunt and already mine
have decided they too can be a bird dog, as well as a rabbit dog.   They are
like Brittanys a breed that needs a "Job" so Obedience, Agility, Rally are all
great side activities for them besides being all-around good companions.
They do require set boundaries and once you set them they will be a happy camper.    When "Dewey" is done rounding up the "senior Britts, he takes a well deserved nap curled up in my lap or by my side in the chair until the next call to duty sounds. 
We had our first Aussie back in Hawaii in the late 1980's.  Sam was a decendant of some Australian imports from Tinee Town lines.  He did not make it as a show dog and sadly died at a very young age from a heart defect that was undetected and discovered when he crashed during a routine neuter.   But he remains in my heart and now I have returned to my fun animated spitfire friends...
