Our focus has been to select females out of lines well known for producing physical
soundness in hips with strong bold temperaments which is fostered to their offspring. Dams
are a focal point in my program as they contribute so much in the early nurturing of the litter,
as well as that little genetic contribution from mitochondrial DNA that the Dams have that could
play an important role.
