Jixy de Rocancourt, Tr. x Rubis) Owner- Sherry Hughes, MI  Fine bone yet she is "rounder" than her mother that was confirmed in France and sent to the USA as a breeding prospect. Like others in this combination the females were all small/fine in bone.  Males ranged in size from 19 to 20-1/2".  This is a big problem in French bitches being fine in bone and often undersized.  Of interest is that the French standard calls for a larger dog than the AKC standard,  18.2" for French Standard and 17.5" for AKC standard as a minimum sizes. The French standard also suggests an ideal for males and females, AKC does not.
